Philip gets 11th at Outer Banks Pro

Team Rider Philip Goold made the Quarter Finals of the Outer Banks but some trying conditions made it difficult to get the high scores needed to move on, nevertheless a great showing. Philip will be heading to Canada in a couple weeks for the O'Neill Cold Water Classic 6 star, hopefully we can get some photos from that to share.

Crew Smith wins at Mid Atlantic Skate Series

Team Rider Crew Smith won the 10 and under bowl contest at the Mid Atlantic Skate Series event. That makes three in a row that Crew has won. The last one is at St. Mary's Md. He could make it a clean sweep of all four contests. Either way all he has to do is show up and he will be the 10 and under Mid-Atlantic overall champ. Photo: John Wright / Wrighcoastsurf.com

Vans Skate Day at the Wilmington, NC Store

On Saturday, August 15, our Wilmington store location hosted the Vans crew for a cookout and skate session. Vans east coast team riders showed up with burgers and dogs, ready to fire up the grill for an afternoon of shredding our newly constructed mobile skate park. Tons of kids turned out to skate and the event was a huge success. Groms left with tons of free gear and everyone was definitely stoked. Stay tuned to 17thst.com for info on where the ramps will be next! The setup is sick and you don’t want to miss out! Thanks again to Vans and to everyone that came out Saturday!
